Ryan Scheb is in his 8th year teaching history at Cristo Rey New York High School in New York City. At Cristo Rey, he chairs the History Department and teaches World History and AP United States History. Ryan also serves as the co-director of the school’s choir, teaches SAT prep, and is the SAT coordinator. For the past few years, Ryan has served as a lead curriculum and assessment writer for the Cristo Rey Network’s Social Studies courses and last year started to train other AP United States History teachers. 

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from the University of Florida and his Masters in Teaching from Fordham University. This summer, Ryan will enter Notre Dame’s Remick Leadership Program, seeking a Master’s in School Leadership. 

In his spare time, Ryan loves to travel internationally, cheer for the Florida Gators and Green Bay Packers, sing in his church choir, follow politics, watch TV and spend time with his friends and family.
