Karl Remsen works at a small, rural high school in the mountains of Colorado. He teaches Personal Finance, Integrated III, Career Math, Newcomer Math, and Engineering. He is also a crew leader for 11th and 12th graders, the advisor for National Honor Society, and coaches the Nordic ski team. 

Karl works with many students who dream of being the first in their family to attend college, and he is constantly inspired by their grit and determination. In his free time, Karl enjoys exploring the mountains that surround him by foot or on skis.

  • Received in 2019. National Board certification is recognized as the most respected

  • The MoneyWi$er Financial Innovation Awards are presented by the Office of the Colorado Attorney General in partnership with the Colorado Department of Education. The awards recognize distinguished individuals who have made personal finance education a priority throughout their school and community.
