If you would like to know Heather Woodward better, please refer to Rudy Francisco’s “Honest Poem.” Born in El Paso TX, her primary education was in Germany on a NATO base with Seattle area for secondary school.
Woodward’s undergraduate degree is in English & Art History from Willamette University. Graduate degrees; MA., Museology (Univ. of Washington) and MAT, Teaching (George Fox University).
She is in her 19th year of teaching, having taught nine years in high school and ten in middle school. Woodward is an Oregon Writing Project Teacher Consultant and has presented her work at the Oregon State Writing Conference. She enjoyed three summers facilitating writing as therapy classes in the forensic unit of the Oregon State Hospital.
