Co-chair & Trustee of The Ferrante Family Foundation
Molly and her husband, Domenic, moved to Southwest Florida ten years ago from the Boston area with their four children. Their philanthropic work supports many organizations that empower individuals and communities with greater educational and social opportunity.
Molly grew up in the greater Detroit area and graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in economics in 1988. She worked for over 10 years in the commercial real estate business in Chicago, where she financed office buildings, shopping malls, apartments, and hotels. She is a former Vice President with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. Currently, she manages the family’s philanthropic pursuits which focus primarily on broader education, environmental concerns, and humanitarian assistance.
Her dedication to enhancing K-12 environmental education has created lasting partnerships between dedicated educators and non-profit leaders. The relationships have encouraged educators to incorporate literacy and outreach programs provided by The Everglades Foundation and The Conservancy of Southwest Florida.
Molly continues to spearhead youth involvement and awareness in an area vulnerable to hurricanes. Her passion lies in engaging students in meaningful local humanitarian work with the Red Cross while incorporating knowledge of global frameworks for a deeper understanding of their humanitarian efforts.
She is an active board member of the Red Cross Florida Gulf Coast to Heartland Chapter and a member of the Boston College Board of Regents. In addition, she serves as Co-chair and Trustee of The Ferrante Family Foundation.
