Dan's Story

Dan Lawler has been teaching high school English for 23 years, the last 19 years at New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois. Courses he has taught include: American Studies, Humanities, Literature and Film, and Creative Non-Fiction. He also sponsors New Trier’s Social Service Board, a club that coordinates service learning and outreach in the greater Chicagoland area.
