Math, Personal Finance, & Engineering
Karl Remsen works at a small, rural high school in the mountains of Colorado. He teaches Personal Finance, Integrated III, Career Math, Newcomer Math, and Engineering. He is also a crew leader for 11th and 12th graders, the advisor for National Honor Society, and coaches the Nordic ski team.
Karl works with many students who dream of being the first in their family to attend college, and he is constantly inspired by their grit and determination. In his free time, Karl enjoys exploring the mountains that surround him by foot or on skis.

Member of a committee that researched, developed, and found funding to implement a pre-collegiate program that launched in January 2015 whose purpose is to aid first generation high school students attend college by providing support throughout their high school career and beyond.
